My Name is Grace Snelling. I retired as a Federal Government employee with 38 years of service. During my tenure with various agencies, I was a Team Leader and Supervisor.

I have been a resident of Lynwood for 36 Years. My son was active in sports, which gave me the opportunity of being Team Mom for about 8 years.

Two of my children graduated from Sandridge Elementary School.

I was the Director of Children’s Ministry for 7 years. In that capacity, I was responsible for the youth from ages 5 through 11 years. The various functions included Jr ushers, praise dancers and children’s church as well. I also taught Sunday School for 7 years.

I was active with the PTA in earlier years. I am currently an active member of Sandridge PTA serving as the Treasurer. I volunteer in the functions at the school as often as possible helping out at the various events.

Currently I am the Facilitator and active with a girls mentoring group called Girls on F.I.R.E. for the past three years. This group encourages the girls to have Faith, Identity, Respect and Empowerment in themselves.
