Sandridge School District 172 Board Of Education Candidate Jeff Walker
Sandridge School District 172 Board Of Education
Candidate Jeff Walker

My name is Jeff Walker, and first and foremost, I am a husband, a father to two wonderful children, and a proud grandfather to four beautiful grandchildren who remind me every day of the promise and potential of the next generation. Family is my foundation—it’s what drives me and shapes the choices I make as a leader, learner and involved advocate for children.

As a leader I have had numerous opportunities to serve and contribute. I’m both a former and current business owner, and I’ve worked in the private sector, where I’ve learned the value of hard work, integrity, and getting things done the right way. For over a decade, I’ve called Lynwood my home—a place that has given me so much and a community that I love deeply.

I’m not someone who sits on the sidelines. I believe in being part of the solution. That’s why I’m a proud member of the Sandridge PTA, working to ensure our school is a place where children thrive. I serve as secretary of the Wellington Court Homeowners’ Association, because strong neighborhoods are the backbone of strong communities.

I’m a regular volunteer at my church, where I find meaning and purpose in giving back to others.

My love for this community doesn’t stop there. It’s that love—and a deep desire to be of service—that’s led me to step up and run for school board member. I believe every child in District 172 deserves access to a world-class education. I believe that District 172 should be a place of opportunity, of excellence, and of hope. That’s why I’m fully committed to working with the board and our community to continue moving Sandridge toward Blue Ribbon status.

This isn’t just a campaign for me—it’s a calling. It’s about making sure our children have every opportunity to succeed, not just in the classroom, but in life. And I know that together, with your support, we can build a brighter future—not just for Sandridge, but for the entire village of Lynwood!

I stand with you, ready to work, ready to listen, and ready to serve. Let’s work together to ensure every child has the chance to achieve excellence in education. I am an ordinary citizen committed to doing extraordinary work on behalf of the children we serve in Lynwood!
