Experienced Educator and Leader: I am Dr. Stacey D. McJunkins and I have  served as a phenomenal educator in key leadership roles in and outside of the classroom. I have a strong grasp of the educational landscape of public education and I bring a deep understanding of how schools operate from the classroom to the boardroom. These experiences were obtained by doing the work, building leaders from within and raising the bar of excellence for school leaders and board members which encouraged collaboration, which led to Sandridge SD 172 increasing test scores and rigor.

Proud Lynwood Resident: For more than 20 years, I have resided in the phenomenal village of  Lynwood!  My daughter is a proud graduate of Sandridge SD 172 and my heart lies in this community of resilience, strength, and opportunity.

Proven Advocate for Sandridge SD 172: I previously served on the Sandridge SD 172 Board of Education, where I served as a board member who supported the superintendent and other board members to provide 21st century learning opportunities for students, teachers, and families. One of my key accomplishments has been serving as a Board member who  played a pivotal role in building the “New Sandridge”.

Passionate About STEAM Education: I’m committed to STEAM Education programs and I have experience in working with  Mobile App Making and computer coding. These programs provide hands-on experiences that equip students to think, create, analyze, and build in a rapidly evolving world.

Driven by Faith and Service: As a woman of faith, I’m deeply committed to ensuring every child in our community receives more than just a good education—they deserve a great one! Together, we can build a future where every student has the tools to succeed.
